Honor X8 5G: New mid-range smartphone with Google Services

New Mid-Range Smartphone With Google Services

Honor, which used to be a part of Huawei, showed off the Honor X8 5G smartphone before the big IFA 2022 event on September 2 in Berlin. End of July was when the mid-range smartphone was shown to the world, but there hasn’t been a German press release or price yet. After Huawei was banned, the mid-range phone offers LTE 5G, Google Mobile Services (GMS), which includes the Google Play Store, and, as the name suggests, the Google Play Store. Also, the price of 269 euros is not too high.

The Honor X8 5G Will Be Official Before IFA 2022

The IFA 2022 will be held at the Berlin exhibition centre from September 2 to September 6 of next week. A fair that is set up not just for business people and press people, but for anyone who wants to go and has time. So far this year, there have been no COVID-19 conditions. Still, some manufacturers aren’t going to the international event because of the reasons we listed HERE -. But Honor and Huawei are also there and want to show us their new smartphones. But it won’t be the Honor X8 5G, since that phone is already official and Honor has already hinted that there will be an Honor 70. On the home page, it says that one should even try to guess the price right now.

But today we’re talking about the Honor X8 5G, not the Honor X8 from May, which doesn’t have the fast 5th generation LTE. Instead of a 6.7-inch screen, there is now a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hertz. Above, there is a notch in the shape of a teardrop for an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Snapdragon 480 And Only 48 MP Instead Of 64

The Snapdragon 480 Plus octa-core processor, on the other hand, is what makes the most difference. The graphics are handled by the Adreno 619 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), which is in addition to the 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal programme memory. A microSD memory card can be used as an option to add more time. On the back, there is a main camera with 48 megapixels (f/1.8) and two secondary cameras with 2 megapixels each. One for close-ups and the other for blurry backgrounds. Not a hit by any means, but fine for the price.

The Honor X8 5G is 163.66 x 75.13 x 8.68 millimetres and weighs 194 grammes. It has room for a 5,000 mAh battery and is now available for 269.90 euros in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue.
