Xiaomi 12t Lunar Silver Press Render Leaked

The new Xiaomi 12T series has been seen in a new video. The new renders show both the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T pro in Lunar Silver. The pictures from the camera show the difference. The main camera on the standard Xiaomi 12T will have 108 MP, while the Pro models will use a new camera with 200 MP resolution.

Xiaomi 12T: The New Processor Is Already Visible On Geekbench

The Xiaomi 12T pro showed up in the Geekbench performance test, so we now know for sure how fast the new phones are and what kind of technology they have. The new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor is not a big surprise. This means that the models will be released soon, because the next-generation processor will be out by the end of the year. If they were released later, they would have to compete with devices that have a better processor.

Xiaomi 12T – Technical Data Can Already Be Seen In The Google Play Console

The Xiaomi 12T series doesn’t look like it will be out for a long time, since the models are already listed on Google and the tech specs are already there for the Xiaomi 12T pro. There aren’t any big shocks: A top model should now have at least Android 12, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and 12GB of RAM.

Xiaomi 12T – Update Of The Model Series Expected In The Second Half Of 2022

The normal models of the Xiaomi 12 series are now also available in Germany. The status of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra models is still unknown, so some German users are wondering if it’s better to use the current models or wait for the Xiaomi 12T models, which are an update to the series.

The serial numbers of the new models have already been found in the IMEI database at Xiaomiui, so we already know what Xiaomi is planning. Most likely, there will be two models again:

  • Xiaomi 12T: 22071212AG
  • Xiaomi 12T pro: 22081212G

Also mentioned is a model with the number 22081212UG. This is likely the Xiaomi 12T pro version with better charging. But we don’t know anything else about this yet. The series of devices will be made under the code name “Psyche.”

Technically, there aren’t many details, but it’s safe to assume that Xiaomi will again use the best processor and update the camera. Since Snapdragon announced a processor update for the summer, it’s possible that the Xiaomi 12T series will also get a better processor, but that’s not for sure. Qualcomm has talked about Xiaomi for the new Snapdragon chipsets, so there is a good chance that the SoC will have new technology.

In terms of software, the Xiaomi 12T can again be set to Android 12 with MIUI 13, since newer versions are unlikely to be available when the phone first comes out or if they are brand new. Most likely, the models will get Android 13 pretty quickly, but first they will use the latest versions of the operating system and user interface.

Last year, the Xiaomi 11T models also came out around the middle of September in Germany. Most experts think that this will happen again this year with the devices in the Xiaomi 12T series. This means that the launch of the series is likely to happen again in September, in Germany.

It is not clear, though, if the new models will have a Lite version again. In the 12 series, there was also a Xiaomi 12X, but a Xiaomi 12TX doesn’t seem likely.
